Sex education program

The purpose of this program is to educate workers, outsourced labour and the residents of Autazes about safe sex practices.

• Raise awareness among the target public of sexually transmitted diseases, including how they are transmitted and the resulting problems and encourage the adoption of preventive practices and behaviour;
• Discuss the issue of pregnancy, especially that of teen and unwanted pregnancies, highlighting the consequent results and methods of contraception;
• Support the public health services with their policy of controlling sexually transmitted diseases and unwanted pregnancies;
• Provide workers and contracted parties with guidance in relation to the local communities.
