Orange May: Month to combat the abuse and sexual exploitation of children and adolescents

Potássio do Brasil highlights another important campaign this May that requires broad social mobilization to truly make a difference.

Orange May focuses on raising awareness about the abuse and sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.

In 2024, Brazil’s Ministry of Human Rights and Citizenship (MDHC) recorded 274,999 complaints related to the abuse and sexual exploitation of children and adolescents, making it the leading category of reports received by the public agency.

To report cases, dial 100. The hotline operates daily from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., including weekends and holidays, and accepts anonymous reports.

Join this cause and help protect our children and adolescents.
