April is dedicated to the autism awareness campaign. Established by the United Nations (UN) in 2007, which designated April 2 as the official date, the Blue April campaign aims to draw society’s attention to the topic, fostering engagement and visibility for the disorder.

In the interview, Matt pointed out that, with all the licenses already approved, the project has already begun the first stages of construction and that contracts with companies such as Amaggi have already been signed, strengthening the project's financial base.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply

The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) instituted Decree-Law No. 7.876/1989, to encourage reflective and critical thinking about the importance of using and preserving soil, as it is a natural resource for food production and environmental conservation.

Among the main factors for preserving soil are that it is a natural filter that purifies water, it helps regulate the planet's climate, it is the basis of agribusiness, it is fundamental for the health of river basins, it is essential for biodiversity, among others.

Potássio do Brasil, a subsidiary of Brazil Potash, is committed through the Autazes Potash Project to preserving and correctly using the soil, prioritizing sustainability, the environment, and economic development. The company reaffirms that no area will be deforested to set up the factory and exploit the ore in the municipality of Autazes, in the state of Amazonas, given that previous occupations with grazing activities have already deforested the area.

Potássio do Brasil, a subsidiary of Brazil Potash, took part in Amazonas Oil, Gas & Energy – Expo & Conference 2025, an event organized by the Government of the State of Amazonas through the State Department of Energy, Mining, and Gas (Semig), and Sebrae Amazonas. The event was held from March 18 to 20 at the Vasco Vasques Convention Center in Manaus.

With the theme “Industrial Policy, Technology, and Innovation for the Oil, Gas, and Energy Sector of Amazonas,” the conference brought together industry representatives, experts, and investors to discuss challenges, opportunities, and emerging trends in the sector.

On March 20, yesterday, the President of Potássio do Brasil, Adriano Espeschit, participated in the panel “Oil, Gas, and Mining Exploration & Production in the Amazon – Opportunities and Challenges,” moderated by Semig’s Executive Secretary for Energy and Gas, Marco Antônio Villela. The panel also featured Hilter Bandeira, General Manager at Petrobras – Amazon Unit; Luciano Bravo, General Manager of Development Plans at Eneva; and José Raimundo Rabelo Filho, Manager of Mineral Resources at the Amazonas Environmental Protection Institute (Ipaam), representing Ipaam’s Director-President, Gustavo Picanço.

During the panel, the president presented the Autazes Potash Project—the largest potash fertilizer initiative in Brazil—emphasizing its critical role in strengthening food security and reducing national dependence on imported agricultural inputs. He also highlighted the company’s ongoing engagement with municipal, state, and federal agencies, stressing its full compliance with legislation.

Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) number 16 aims to significantly reduce all forms of violence and the mortality rate, end abuse, exploitation, trafficking, and all forms of violence and torture against children, as well as promote the rule of law at national and international levels and ensure equal access to justice for all, among other objectives.

A news report published on the G1 Portal in early February reinforces concerns about global warming, which, according to researchers, has exceeded 1.5°C and may be irreversible, a study warns.

According to the report based on the study, "the 1.6°C increase in the global average temperature recorded in 2024 – the hottest year on record – could be a sign of a permanently warmer planet, making it more vulnerable to climate change moving forward, according to a study by the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research in Leipzig, Germany, recently published in the journal Nature Climate Change."

Studies also indicate that rising temperatures are altering climate patterns and disrupting nature’s balance, posing risks to humans and other life forms on the planet.
