Brazil’s Vice President recently met with the Autazes City Mayor (city of 40,000 people close to our project) to discuss the critical importance of increasing domestic Brazilian fertilizer production. Brazil is one of the world’s largest exporters of food but is highly exposed by having to import 85% of its fertilizer needs including 98% of its Potash. Brazil Potash’s Autazes Project aims to change this by extracting high quality potash for Brazilian farmers from their backyards resulting in greater global food security.
