Potássio do Brasil, a subsidiary of Brazil Potash, took center stage at the Brazilian Mining Expo & Congress (Exposibram 2023), held from August 28th to 31st. This prestigious event, organized by the Brazilian Mining Institute (Ibram), unfolded at the Hangar Centro de Convenções & Feiras da Amazônia in Belém, Pará. The grand opening of the exhibition hall, graced by the presence of Helder Barbalho (MDB), the Governor of the host city, and Raul Jungmann, Director-President of Ibram, featured some of Brazil’s mining industry giants.

Representing President Adriano Espeschit of Potássio do Brasil, Davidson Aquino, the Director of Finance and Administration, participated in the conference’s inauguration. The conference delved into the scenarios and trends within the mineral sector. Meanwhile, at the exhibition, Potássio do Brasil showcased its presence with a booth, where the Autazes Potash Project took the spotlight. This groundbreaking project is set to produce potassium chloride fertilizer in the municipality of Autazes, Amazonas, and it captivated the attention of attendees at the event.

This marks the second consecutive appearance of Potássio do Brasil at Exposibram. The company is committed to driving socio-economic development in the heart of Amazonas through the Autazes Potash Project. Employing sustainable, high-standard techniques, technology, and engineering in alignment with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria, Potássio do Brasil is pioneering the production of ‘green potash.’
