Program to control atmospheric emissions and monitor air quality

Through this program air quality will be monitored in order to control air pollution in Vila de Urucuritiba and the community of Soares.

• Plan the soil movement and civil construction activities in such a manner that soil is exposed for the shortest time possible;
• Capture the dust generated during the crushing processes and at the ore transfer points during the operational stage of the project;
• Spray water on unpaved roads that are frequently travelled twice a day, or at an appropriate rate depending on the quantity of dust and level of traffic; Collect samples from atmospheric emission points;
• Implement a machinery and vehicle maintenance plan.
